This is the second year of Movimento Project Contemporary Dance workshops designed for people of all ages, abilities & experience, interested in the aesthetic experience of exploring their own body and movement as material for art-making. Contemporary dance is an inclusive & celebratory medium, focusing choreographic appreciation on movement of all types of bodies, moving in various spaces, with diverse thematic goals, personal sound scores, etc.

These workshops emphasize movement as artistic expression in a welcoming and supportive environment. No prior dance experience is required. Contemporary dance celebrates all body types and movement styles, encouraging exploration and creativity.
